Where We Work

Where We Work

We are based at 4363 Independence Ct in Sarasota, and almost everything we build is for a business within an hour’s drive of that address.

That is deliberate. A marketing agency that serves everywhere serves nowhere in particular. We know that March is worth four and a half times what October is worth to a Sarasota County business, because we have watched clients’ booking calendars do it. We know a Bradenton restaurant needs Spanish-language pages and a Venice medical practice almost certainly does not. We know that a contractor in North Port is competing for homeowners who moved there in the last five years and have no vendor loyalties yet, and that the same pitch would fail in Englewood where everybody already has a guy.

Pick your city below. Each page covers what we actually do there, who we work with, and what we have learned about winning customers in that specific market.

Not sure how you rank in your city right now?

We will audit your site for free and tell you what is actually holding it back — including if the answer is that you do not need a rebuild.

Sarasota County

Sarasota

Our home market. Downtown, St. Armands Circle, the Rosemary District, Newtown and the university corridor. Arts organisations, medical practices, professional services and hospitality.

Venice

Venice Island and the Jacaranda corridor. The oldest market on this list and one of the most rewarding — if you understand who you are actually talking to.

Osprey & Nokomis

Marine contractors, waterfront services and the Laurel Road medical corridor. A relationship market where word of mouth still outruns advertising.

North Port

The second fastest-growing city in the United States. Contractors, home services and the businesses filling in behind Wellen Park.

Englewood

Dearborn Street, Manasota Key and the long recovery. Marine, hospitality and the restoration trades, across two county lines.

Manatee County

Bradenton

Old Main Street, the Riverwalk and the Village of the Arts. The most linguistically diverse market we work in, and the one where price positioning matters most.

Lakewood Ranch

Main Street, Waterside Place and the CORE business park. Highest income, highest education, least seasonal market on the Gulf Coast.

Palmetto

Port, produce and a downtown being rebuilt with real money. A working city that thinks of itself as facing Tampa, not Sarasota.

Tampa Bay

Tampa

Westshore, Ybor City, Water Street and Hyde Park. We compete at the district and vertical level here, not on the head term — and we will tell you why on the page.

St. Petersburg

The EDGE District, Grand Central, the Warehouse Arts District and the Innovation District. Closer to us than Tampa is, and culturally much closer to Sarasota.

Metros we serve remotely

Everything above this line is somewhere we can drive to. Everything below it is not, and we are not going to blur that distinction. We have no office in any of these metros, no local phone number and no local mailing address — we work with clients there remotely, from Sarasota.

These pages are written differently as a result. Instead of drive times and county lines, each one works through what that metro’s market is actually doing right now — construction employment against permit volume, the local licensing regime, and what the two together mean for winning work there.

Charleston, South Carolina

Construction employment up 5.4% while residential permits fell 18.3% — the trades squeezed by megaprojects. Plus South Carolina’s unusually low $5,000 licensing threshold. Web design and SEO for Charleston.

Nashville, Tennessee

Davidson County permits down 65.5% from their 2021 peak across four straight years, inside a metro whose overall employment is still growing. Web design and SEO for Nashville.

Raleigh and Cary, North Carolina

The strongest permit market we work in — first among large metros for new housing per 1,000 homes in 2024 — and a $40,000 licensing threshold that changed who you compete with. Web design and SEO for Raleigh.

Charlotte, North Carolina

Record construction employment against a 37.4% fall in Mecklenburg permits. More firms, less new residential work, and $19.4 billion of transit spending changing where it goes. Web design and SEO for Charlotte.

Las Vegas, Nevada

The steadiest permit market of the eight, the strictest contractor licensing in the country, and a pool and deck renovation market shaped by the 600 square foot cap. Web design and SEO for Las Vegas.

Denver, Colorado

Restoration rather than new build: county permits fell 60% peak to trough. Colorado has no state roofing license, so qualification is municipality by municipality. Web design and SEO for Denver.

Jacksonville, Florida

Same state, same building code, same insurance market as us — and the July 1, 2025 licensing preemption that quietly removed 44 local contractor license categories. Web design and SEO for Jacksonville.

Phoenix, Mesa and Chandler, Arizona

182,100 construction jobs and an Arizona license list with seven swimming pool classes and a dedicated hardscaping class — the trade the rest of our group works in. Web design and SEO for Phoenix.

Not on the list?

We also work with businesses in Longboat Key, Anna Maria Island, Parrish, Ellenton, Myakka City, Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Boca Grande. If you are within about an hour of Sarasota, tell us what you are trying to do and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.

If you are outside Florida entirely, that is fine too — roughly a third of our work is remote. But these ten pages are about the places where we can be in your office by lunchtime.
